Óvárosa 1980-ban lett a Világörökség része, a legjobban felújított óvárosként. A városban a régi óváros és az új óváros is egyaránt teljesen újjáéledt, mely során igyekeztek a város régi hangulatát megtartani.
It's old city became the part of the World Heritage in 1980. The old city and the "new city" were reborn. In both, people can be feel the atmosphere of old times.

The socialist heritage of the city is the Palace of Culture and Science - it is the "gift of soviet people". This is one of the significant buildings in the city. It has more museums, theatres, cinemas and exhibitions. And there is a beautiful sight from its 33. floor to the city.
